What's up Bob,

IMO, these are the best (I know, they're not Stage 2 as the question asked, they're Stage 2.5)...
Check out the killer Torque Numbers....

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...TEA+2.5+torque

AFRs are on sale now too. Would be interesting to see what the initial results of the first batch released will be like.

I have the TEA stg. 2.5 LS6 heads and they are sick!! I would look at either those or absolute speed's heads. BTW, the massive torque #'s come as a result of their special nitrous exhaust port at the expense of about 10rwhp up top. You can choose to gain more up top with less torque should you decide to go with these heads and no nitrous exhaust port.

I am running cartek's 3x ls6 heads with their 230/236 cam and I am making 484 hp and 420 tq through a Moser 9" rear and 4.11 gears. 6 Speed with a steel flywheel .

I will say they are one of the best heads out there right now

MTI makes some of best heads around. Check out there website to see what is involved in the making of a set of their heads. I believe you will be impressed. They have had plenty of satisfied customers and track times to back up their claims. Many of the tuners are using much larger cams then MTI uses in order to produce high dyno numbers. You can compare flow #'s and will find MTI at the top of the pack. MTI flows all their cylinder heads and provides their customers with the flow sheets.

There are a ton of good offerings from all the sponsors. Do some research and check out the times people are running with the combos

The best LS6 head for performance and price would have to be Absolute Speed. Just give Lou @ lg motorsports a call. He has been buying these heads for a long time now and has posted some of the highest dynoing 346 cars out there with the AS ls6 heads.

When comparing heads, make sure you are comparing apples and apples. There are LS6 heads and LS6 style heads.
