Default 5.3 liter gmc cam change

replaced cam with a 313/313 lobe lift 533/533 valve lift 114 lobe sep 212 duration run ok do i need to degree cam and to what also running oem srings lifters heads have a maf translator headers duel exhaust power programer 3 gust want to do it right first time thank for any help

you wont run that cam long with the stock 5.3 valve springs, the springs you have are only rated to i think .500" lift. you should look into a set of ls6 springs or some comp 918s, SLP has a set rated at .600" but i don't know their part number or anything. it should run like a bastard step child with that cam in it, do you have any way to tune it?
