Drag Racing Tech - hit the 12.0 doh club and the 11sec NA club in 2 passes

i went hoping for 12.0's or 12.11's or something better than a 12.17 so here goes..

1st pass:
nice 6-7 sec tire roast 20psi
pull up to the tree, shaking from the first run gitters..
anyway i leave like around 1400 rpms
60' : 1.648
1/8th: 7.68@88.8
1/4th: 12.07@112.06 yeah baby i made the 12.doh club

well after looking at my 60 i pondered.. hmmm what would a 1.62 or better get me

2nd pass
20psi
stalled to 1100
wham(cell phone flies up from floor and cracks into my rear windsheild)
60' : 1.603
1/8th: 7.61@89.06
1/4th: 11.98@112.65

i crapped my pants and was laughing all the way back to pits.. talk about seeing someones hands shake

oh i go out for one more pass... figured i would try a idle-1000 luanch...

but up go the tires in smoke and i cut a 2.0 60" and just coast to a 15.something another

i think i found the border line for the nittos.. this damn vig has so much more off the line, but im a wuss and wont run et streets.. dang 11.8's should be easy

well i made it to the 11sec all motor club... its a long hard journey for us 98-00 cars

now i can sleep at night now

but not bad for stock 3.23's, stall, and headers... on and 3460-3500 race weight <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

Congrats! Feels good to finally get an 11 second slip after running low 12s for so long doesn't it? I know the feeling! <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

i just wasnt even expecting 11's... yeah 11.98 isnt there by much, but its still a 11 in front <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

now if i could just throw some et streets on her.... its tempting, but i know ill be trailoring back.... <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0">
