Default Will FM-5's meant for a C5 fit on a F-body?

Someone local is selling some 17x9's and 17x10's for a good price. They were used for road racing on a C5. I want to know if there would be any fitment issues?

Just looking at FM-5 pics on C5's compared to F-bodies it seems the lip on the C5 is smaller. Is this true?

The offsets on a Vette wheel from FIKSE will not be as aggressive as if they were built for a F-Car.

Do you by any chance know the offset? Will I need spacers to push them out a little?

Sorry I do not. As for the spacers, I cannot really say. In general, they will fit, since Corvette wheels typically fit a F-Car, but they are not going to have the same stance as FIKSEs made for an F-Car.

Basically you are saying the lip is not going to be as deep? If the offset is 56mm like most C5's are I can use a small spacer to push it out to get a better stance correct?

Correct.

The offset more than likely is a little less than 56 mm since FIKSE is very aggressive with their offsets, but yes one could use spacers to get a better "stance" I highly recommend better studs, if you go the spacer route, and invest in good quality hub and wheel centric spacers for outfits such as H&R Springs.

Do you have a link to the hub and wheel centric spacers?

Ok, I found an old post with this link. http://www.hrsprings.com/site/index.html

$150 for spacers. 25mm seems a little huge?

This is Andy (Xsta Z 28) No 25 mm is big. Nearly 1". If I recall correctly they had 8 mm and 15 mm versions. FYI 1" = 25.4 mm.

Wow!! I was on their website and it showed 25mm. The site is cool. You can purchase a spacer to use Porsche wheels if you wanted.
