Default TCC lock during shift question?

I notice on alot of edit files I look at that the TCC lock during shift is set to true but on my 98 formula it's set to false. Any reason to change it to lock during the shift and any wear issues by doing so?

Good question. One would think it would be a little harder on the transmission but I don't know for sure. I will say this, I've tried it at the drag strip set as true and as false and noticed no difference. I just leave it at false now.
