Default Used Sea Foam, not alot of smoke

I have an LS1 with 55K on it in a 93 RX7 and decided to try out Sea Foam because of the mileage and the condition of the throttle body when I took it apart to clearance the blade.

I put in roughly the 1/3 they said at idle through the vacuum port on the lower passenger side throttle body side, it was pulling good vacuum and sucked it right in.

Shut the car off, let it sit for 5 minutes and started it up. Got about 3-4 seconds of light hazing smoke, not the smoke show every says you get.

I was going to give it another shot tommorow and put a bit more in, or is there a better place to put it in? I'm sure the insides are gummed, the TB was a mess, as was the PVC lines.

I'm going to yank the PVC off and put on breathers.

It did rev smoother and pulled pretty decent, but I'm not sure if I got it all or not.

I'm also going to throw some in the oil and in the gas tank, its due for a change so now would be a good time to do it.

Thanks

I have always heard that it is best to let it sit overnight. I did that recently with mine and I got an awesome smoke show.

I let mine sit overnight. When I first started it up, it smoked very little but got much heavier once it got up to temp...

I used an entire can on my 99tahoe and let it sit for an hour. it started up sounding a little flooded and then smoked out the block for 15 minutes. Nice to see you on the board again.

I use a whole can also. you may have a little smoke while idling, but the real show is WOT.

What is Sea foam? By the thread I gather some type of cleaner. Where do I get some? I have oil coating the back side of my throttle body too so I'm sure I could benefit from this type of cleaning.
