Well took the car out tonight and finally had it some what ready to race. Got some wieght out of it, and had the short belt on.

This is only my second full pass with the car since we got the heads and cam in.

First pass tonight was a:

60ft- 1.619
mph, clock was messed up

2nd pass (hot lapped it right back to line)

Car really felt good, I just short shifted at about 6400 instead of 6600 on 3 to 4

3rd pass

Car spun about 20 ft. ( my fault launched to hard)

4th and final pass. I should thank Raughhammer for this pass. I've read some of his post and he says he finds the guy with the biggest slicks and follows him. Did the same thing, followed a 69 camaro with at least 12" slicks.

I still need to get it tuned, and install the 4.30 gears. I was very happy with my 60ft considering I have 3.73 in there now..
Really exicted about this year..

Ok, Sorry guys it was a little late when I came in and i forgot a few details

First I'm running Stage 2 Heads from GTP. The cam is 591/591 226.226 I think this is the same setup George C Car had.

We went to Capitol raceway right outside of Annapolis. I did get to wiegh the car, and it came in at 3440, with me.

That's great Moose, the new gear ratio will really help. Did you have to fly cut the pistons for the cam lift?

Damn that's flyin! I was thinking about a cam in the 226 dur and .285 lift range myself. That cam looks good too. Just curious are you heads milled and did you have to cut on the pistons?

Moose at 3440lbs that is a GREAT ET/MPH.The car has 10's in it NO DOUBT.The 226 cam and the GTP heads ROCK buddy..

Josh, the cam is from Cam Motion. The lobes are not as agressive as the XE-R lobes from Comp. We have had a few of these on the Cam Pro Plus.

But really, very nice runs. What have you done for tuning. And those really are sweet 60s for 3.73s. My best 60s are only 1.59s with 4.10s.

You're 60' is really a sign of how well you work the M6. I know that it's not easy.........
