Any of you guys in the high to mid 11`s with this (or close to this) set-up?
- LS6 heads (stock,no porting)
- HOT cam
- ST4000 or Vig3600
- 16" ET Streets on stock rims
- short belt
- Frnt. sway bar off
- cut-out
These or simular mods on a `01 or `02 Z-28 w/A4, 3.23`s? I`m not sure of my race weight yet but it is a 1sc (stripper) car. And feel free to pick apart my choice of mods/parts as I am open to suggestions and not dead set (though pretty close) on this combo. Also, would programming be a must? Money,or lack there of, will determine how far I get with these plans this year, but I`m looking for a solid 11.60`s to 11.90`s N/A foundation or at least right to the point that the IHRA is going to want a cage! Thanks guys!

It seems to me you have a chance at cracking into the eleven's with your setup. Be sure to get a good 60 ft time in your quest. Good luck!!!!!

My car went in the 11's (11.95 to be exact) with just bolt ons and a #7 pump. Whats racerweight going to be? That and traction being factors I would think for sure some ls6 heads, a hotcam, and that convertor would get you in the 11's even in hot weather.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Yea, I know my driving (60ft & R/T) will play a huge roll in my quest but that will all come with practice and is a hell of a lot cheaper than those parts! Oh, and the driver weight will be a hefty 225.

It should be pretty easy with what you listed. You probably could without touching the heads or cam, but you'd need some decent weather as well.

With heads and cam, you should be able to do it going backwards..

Take out the heads.. and it sounds like my car

I have full run down of my mods Here (http://www.ls1tech.com/ubb/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=5;t=001022)

You could accomplish simular (or better) results with the ST-4000, but I would HIGHLY recomend a TP-4400.

You can easily run 11's with that setup. Check my sig to see what I have done to my car.
