why wont it shift right away WOT??
Any reason why my car wont shift WOT 1-2 and 2-3 theres like a 2 second delay and it seeems like the car is bouncing off the rev limiter, i drove my buddies 99 and it did the same, anyway to prevent this from happening. its killing my ET, do i need to edit and lower the shift points to prevent it from hitting the rev limiter or do i raise the rev limiter so the car doesnt bounce off it.

Rev limiter should be set for valvetrain safety.
Unless you know otherwise I wouldn't go over
6200-6250RPM.
Shift adaptation times should be reduced to
something more sensible than 0.3 seconds.
You could go as low as 0.0 but I run with
0.1-0.15 sec currently.
RPM and MPH shiftpoint should be set to
reliably clear the rev limiter. The MPH in
particular will slide around with how much
power you are making and changes in
converter.

i've found that the trans fluid runs away from the filter in the trans you need to put the deeper trans pan and matching filter from gm to cure the problem the new truck pan is stepped so it keeps more fluid around the pickup

When I had a similar problem it was the torque converter. The shift points were safely below the rev limiter but it was still banging on the rev limiter at WOT. Turned out 4 fins were flattened inside the TC. The other symptom was the TC was that the stall had gone up.
If your stall is still where it's supposed to be then it's likely either a fluid problem or too high a shift point.

Its a stock converter, seems to be fine, car power brakes right around 1500rpms or so.
It sucks cause I ran my car with the Gtech the other night and u could tell the shifting was killing my times, i ran a 13.7@103 with a 2.1 60ft on the gtech if the shift were all there i'm sure a 13.4 wasnt out of the question.

you need to let it shift on its on and not shift in manually and if you are going to shift it manually you have to shift the 1-2 at around 5000 to give it time to shift around 6000 and then the 2-3 you have to shift right after
