83-84, but my car is a bad example. it was ALL stock with a cutout and converter (stock lid even). the O2's were pretty bad...like maybe .920-.940 and timing was pretty low (20-24')...i had the MAF flipped so i wouldnt run lean. i ran an 8.39 that night. 60' was a 2.02.

Vig3200. Stock 3.23's. i have the stock shift points and shift into third maybe 20-30 feet before the finish so i figure im losing a mph or two there. If i could get a few hundred bucks together after the wedding, im sure id see somewhere around an 8.0 at 88-89. hopefully.

Re: Converter Guys, what's your MPH in the 1/8?
man, I seem to be way below average..
would a set of headers help me gain any MPH in the 1/8?
seems like most are in the 87 to 88 range, where I am usually in the 84 to 85 range
or do I just have a POS? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

97ish with TP4400, 4.10's, and ET Streets with 1.6X 60's. That was before the serious weight reduction & RR Airbag. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> Look out!

Re: Converter Guys, what's your MPH in the 1/8?
Last year with 2.73 gear, vig2800, pullies, lid, cutout, nittos I ran 8.0's @ 89mph.
Stock (may have had lid, can't remember) ran 8.9's @ 82.
Not sure what to expect this year when I finally get everything back together.
