Im about to try 28" DRs (275/60 r15) on 15x8.5 convo pros on a lowered SS. I should know in a few days how it fits.

the 5" backspacing might not be enough tho. Hope it doesnt hit the fender. Might have to use airbags on both sides :-/

They fit great. You will have to remove the bumpstops and modify the wheel opening. Trim the plastic in the back and roll the inner fender lip.

Thanks Dave, I imagine I'll have to grind my calipers down even more so I don't need a 5/16th spacer? Will any good body shop be able to roll the inner fender? I should mention I am running a 15x8 prostar with 5.5" BS and plan on a 28x10 slick on that rim.

Chris, let me know how that works out.

Justin, we should take it to the same body shop. Maybe we can get GP rates on the labor. LOL We have some kick *** shops in town. Let me know when you want to go there one day.

LOL, will do Jason. After the tranny is fixed I need to stop by Thunder and order the cage and some suspension parts.

I forgot about grinding the calipers. I tried the Convo Pros but they stuck out to far. Went with the Welds with 7.5 backspacing. No spacer needed.

What springs you got out back? Still go the spring cushions in there?
