Well since you posted the same # its kinda confusing to answer. But whatever # would be smaller, that will stick out more. Example: +42mm will stick out more then a +56mm.

Xsta Z 28 summed it up best - you want as close to +50mm offset as possible with the ZO6 wheels. The key will be finding them - definitely do your homework and make damn sure you know what offsets you're getting. I can't believe how much misinformation and variation there is out there with regard to ZO6 wheels.

FWIW, Dante makes a very nice replica wheel and you can get their ZO6's in +53mm for both the 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 sizes (they made +50mm's for a short period, but these were discontinued). Unless you're really lucky you probably won't find any in a +50mm offset. IMO, anything larger than +53mm (e.g. +56mm, +57mm, +61mm, etc) is too much for an F-body and will look too "tucked in".

Do they make the Black Z06 Motorsports in 53mm? I've been looking for those, since 56mm would require fender roll and BFH mod on a stock height Camaro. Where can I buy them?

With 56 mm wheels you will NEVER have to roll the fenders, but a BFH is for sure.

I'm not familiar with the Motorsports wheels, I'd recommend giving them a call directly if possible to see what they offer.

From their website I see they have the following:

18" x 9.5" w/ a 50 mm offset
18" x 10.5" w/ a 53 mm offset

Those two sizes with the tires you mention will fit very well. Fronts will fit with no problems what so ever. The rear will fit well too. You may and I stress MAY have to perform the BFH mod to the wheel well but I doubt it. My old 10.5" wide wheels were 58 mm which will move the tire in more that those listed above.

Hope that helps.

Xsta help me on my offsets couple of months ago, and got my zo6 wheels through Todd. There Dante wheels, Im very happy w/ them.

You're lucky to have gotten the 50mm 18x9.5's. I talked to Dante a couple of days ago and they no longer build that offset - 53mm on the front is the best you can do now.

I just put on 18x9.5 & 18x10.5 motorsport Z06's with 275's in front and 295's rear. Front fits flawlessly and the rear requires only minor bfh. My offsets were either 56mm or 57mm all around.

Sweet, but it looks like they've only got chrome and polish, gonna call them tomorrow to see if they've got the Black Motorsport Z06.

I have +56mm all the way around and I didn't have to do any hammering. If I try to put the rears on with the suspension fully unloaded, they will hit, but it isn't even close with the suspension loaded.

What do you mean by suspension loaded or unloaded? Is your car stock height or dropped? What size rims do you have with the +56 all around? 18x9.5, 18x10.5, etc? What tire sizes are you using?

My rims are 18 x 9.5. Tires are 275/35/18. My car is lowered using DMS springs. (Similar to Pro-Kit).

By "unloaded" I mean that if you jack the car up and put jack stands under the frame rails and let the rear end hang all of the way down. If you do that, the sidewall area of your rear tires is going to be very close, if not touching your bump stops. Now if you just jack up the rear of the car directly under the rear end, the suspension will remain in it's "loaded" position, and the sidewall area will be way above the bumpstop area, giving you plenty of room to get the wheels on and off. This, in essence, is the functional position of the wheels anyhow. My wheels did hit with the suspension "unloaded", but in order for this to happen under road-going circumstances, I would have to get airborne....and I would probably have more serious problems than just having my rears hit the bump stops.:o
