Finally got the UT-4600 hooking
Same setup as two weeks ago 11.69 @ 114.25 (1.59)
I found something odd last night while I was getting the car ready for today... the LPW cover(cap studs) on my 12 bolt were coming up and hitting the panhard support "cross" bar! So much so.. that it's bent!
SO.. I took out the support.. got pretty good results today:
60ft 1.520
330 4.666
1/8 7.379
MPH 90.53
1000 9.721
1/4 11.709
MPH 113.00
Of course the track (MIR) was excellent.. at least for a couple hours <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
No more wheel hop! Car launched consistantly, and spun on a few runs.. but no wheel hop! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Figure I'll "notch" the cross support before putting it back in.
1.52 on a 3405lbs Bolt-on car! This converter is a monster!

Re: Finally got the UT-4600 hooking
John, are you refering to the stamped steel bar that runs along the top? If so, I have removed that bar, to do the duals, and have seen no ill effects. I still haven't found out what it's actual function is. I have about 15 runs in with it out, and no changes in times as a result of moving it. Just a head up. Good times. Are you still going for the bolt on record? It looks like you could use a slick, now that you have the 12 bolt, and look at loosing some more weight, & you should be right in the hunt. Good luck.

I think I'll try for that bolt-on record this year as well .Going to put on my ASP pulley and take out more weight and try some slicks.Might have to try more stall but this new PT-4000 seems to be working great. <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" />

(I wish I would have sent the PCM off last September <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> ) In the mean time I got beat to the punch <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> .
At this point I'm thinking seriously about H/C. Mainly because I'm not willing to get quite as crazy with weight reduction as I would need, to go after "Title"... haven't ruled it out.
Joe(11SECSS) on the other hand is crazy enough How about it Joe.. First bolt-on car in the 10's? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

He has Hals.. still hasn't ported the TB, installed the pulley and still has quite a few things on the list to pull out of his car.
His weight is real close to what yours was 322X range.

Re: Finally got the UT-4600 hooking
He should be able to get there then. It's always nice to be running that good at the beginning of the season. But should get as much done in the next month, before the weather heats up, otherwise, he's looking at waiting until the end of the season when it cools down again. I wish I had started out last year where I am now, I know a 10 is possable. Good luck to you both.
