Gear ratios question
Could someone please tell me what would be the advantages/disadvantages in going from a 3:15 gear to a 3:42? Is it worth the time and trouble to change it performance wise?
I have a 2800 stall converter A4.
I was looking to buy a 3:73 gear, but I could not find one for a C-5, only Lingenfelter and West Coast Corvettes had them, and they want an arm and a leg for them, making one buy the whole differential! Do you know where I may find a 3:73?
Thanks

Thanks for the info
