Default Header install tomorrow...

Can i get a detialled description of what i'm going to need to remove to get the stocker off and the new LT's on? I heard someone say i need to disconnect the steering linkage or column...how do i do that? Any sites i can find this stuff at...i already tried installuniversity and ls1.com and a few others but couldnt find any specifics on the install. Any ideas on what to remove and how to is greatly appreciated, when i did the headers on the mustang i used to have took me 6 hours and that looked like a perfectly clean engine bay compared to the ls1. Thanks for any info.

What headers did you get? On some you need to remove the steering shaft, others you don't.

QTP race style and catted y-pipe. Have you heard anything about having to remove oil drain plug and filter as well?
