They better prep the track! Why wouldn't they at $60 per car?

Dave what are you working on? Cam change? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> And what's your goal? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Default GM West Coast Shootout!

Well it's almost here. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> I can't wait to see what everybody brings and watch 100+ ALL GM cars and NO imports at the same event. I'll be sure to get some good footage on camera.

New Hoosiers are mounted, PA K-member is in, RR airbag is going in shortly and hopefully I can get the Meziere in within the next couple days. It looks like temps will be in the 80's so 10's might be hard to hit....but you never know. The last I checked there was 121 registered for the event.

Anybody else that just can't wait? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I could represent the Southern Oregon team but it would be a one man show. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> So I'll happily support the north and hopefully put a little heat on the S.Cali boys.

The question is: what class is Derek Real going to run in? It might not be a race for the C2 crown at all. But if I know Derek, it's "Go Big or Go Home". C3? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Well, I cleaned out the Burger King wrappers and this bolt on baby is going for the 12.3s <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> ... but then by the time I get to Bakersfield the back seat will probably be full of Slim Jim wrappers anyway ... I am so screwed <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Scott and Terry ... you're getting sleepy, sooo sleepy ... when you see the flashing orange lights, you eye lids will feel heavy and you will go into a deep sleep <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

Scott, I'm almost embarrassed to say what I'm working on. We put the cage in on Sunday and after it was all set up, I pull it out of the shop and I've got fuel everywhere.
Oh yes, we bubbled the two primaries coming out of the tank.
So know to top everything off, I have to replace the lines and they won't be delivered until Fri. morn.
Heh, I work good under pressure.
<img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
Anyway, cam? What cam change? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
I also had some other things to prep for, like grinding calipers for my 15 in. Prostars and seats and wiring and torque arm bushing, and Drag shocks. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
If the planets are in total alignment, I should be good to go by fri. night.
The *** of my car is in the air waiting on those lines, so I'll just have to reassemble in a hurry.
BTW, when I talked to Derek last weekend, he was going to spray until the cows come home or until he hits 9's.
That pretty much takes him out of our hair.
Shooting for?........you and that other guy with the "Quickest H/C Car on the West Coast"

SSValet:

Sounds like you're making plenty of changes. It's pretty fun scrambling to get your car done in time. I'm almost there, but just might custom fabricate a torque arm. I have a good friend that is pretty good at projects like this.

I hope you're not shooting for the 11.20 mark, because if that track hooks it'll go down for sure! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

And I won't be too tired at the tree. Too much hard work into getting her ready. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Derek can probably run NA & spray so you better watch out. I think we can run 2 classes.

mjf454:

Did you get a glimpse of any cool projects at MMS? Lets hear it buddy. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I've got my 28x10.5 ET streets ready to roll. I might do the !bumper/!muffler, but I'm not sure yet.

I am going on the assumption that 11.1 will win that class.
Tired at the light? That's like saying Terry Burger has become a computer mute...won't happen.
<img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Terry, !Muffler?
I'll be running straight thru the test pipes.

I heard Derek's car running last night. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I got my 28x10.5x15 ET streets to fit, but didn't bother with the rear bumper or catback. With a mid 1.5 60' time I'll be looking at 11.10s. I think Scott may be a bit quicker but I will be within striking distance. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
