Default New Bogart Welded RTs and M&H Musclecar Drags pictures

Hopefully the pics show up...
I have 16" road race RTs on order for the front

The M&Hs measure 26.5" tall (advertised as 26.2"), 275-50-15s.

My stock 16x8 rim & 245-50-16 Nitto was 41.6lbs.
The 15x9.75 bogart : 11.6lbs ... w/ M&H 34 & 35 lbs ...
They actually varied by 1 lb- I assume it was the tire, I only
weighed one wheel before mounting.

I tried the M&H based on a couple people here's experience.
It's a bias-ply tire, but seems a step between a street slick
and a drag radial... we'll see. I wanted to get a little more
streetability than an et street.

I will post full car pics when my front Bogarts arrive shortly.

As you might imagine, MUCH better hook than the nittos. On the street, with the front sway bar bolted down, and obviously tires not heated up, I detect some slight spin- but I can still give it full throttle and it will make it to the 1-2 shift with what appears to be just slight spin. I figure a little heating up the tires and/or sway bar end link disconnection and I should have full on hook. Got to be only a 5000mi tire max though. But 1st gear was unuseable with the Nittos. Now I can enjoy it a legal speeds.

The M&H Muscle car street tire is a great Street /Strip tire..I'm on my second set this year and with Interco just a hour from my house its easy to run to the manufactor and pick up a set..The tires will hook on just about anything and will live longer then a ET Street..

I run 23 PSI on the street and 21 at the track and the car dead hooks on every pass..Very predictable tires..I just recently was able to get a set of the new ET Street radials in the 275/50/15 size and will hopefully get back to the track once our Louisiana heat wave gets a little better..Here's a screen grab from a couple of Saturdays ago in +3100 DA...

Please post up when you get your results. I am dying to know which one of these two tires hooks up better!

So which tires are more aggressive, the cheater slicks or the Musclecar Drags?

The cheater slicks should be due to less tread pattern. M&H told me the musclecar drag has same compound rubber as slick/cheater slick.

Hey So Slow - have you had a chance to drive on the ET Street DR on the street yet? Just wondering how the street manners are compared to the M&H Muscle Car tire...?

I've been driving on them since Wednesday...They don't wonder like the Bias belted tire does and tonight I had to drive home from work in a pretty bad thunderstorm..The M&H tire worked pretty good on the street but the radial is hard to beat....We may be going to Evadale next Saturday night so I can post some results from the track then..
