Default How to lower car and get decent 60 ft . times

What springs and and LCA lowering brackets would you guys recommend for a 1.5 drop in the back? I use a 26" ET street.I`m tired of the 4x4 look on my 99 TA. thanks

Well my car is lowered....

I got the SLP Bilstein package....SLP bilsteins with eibach lowering springs, I think its a little more than an inch lowered over stock...I can tell its not good for drag racing because the weight transfer isn't that good, I do plan on getting hals in the front though...as it sits right now the 26" ET streets I got come pretty close to the wheel well.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

My car is lowered the eibach prokit (1.5" drop), and I also run on 26" ET Drags. My best 60' is a 1.58, and average mid 1.6. I don't have relocation brackets or an adjustable PHR, but I plan on getting those soon. I will be running a 28" Drag soon too, I hope I can get them to fit! LOL

I think the weight transfers ok on my car. As long as the track you run at preps the starting line well I don't think you will have a problem. Dropping the tire pressure lower, 10-12psi, really makes it easy. Here is a video of my car at the track.

I pull 1.93-2.0 60's with the SLP kit and stock tires. Before SLP kit I could only manage a best of 2.2 60'

You can check out my signature for all the suspension mods I have done. I have not run with the Hals (actually now QA1's) and the new TQ arm, but soon. I use Ground-control adjustable coil-overs (Eibach 450lb) with Hals in front; adjustable GC springs (Eibach 150lb) in back with stock shocks. I can adjust for almost any height - stock to drop of 3.5". Most 60's are 1.7 on a poorly prep'd track.
