et streets poll TUBE or NO TUBE? 16" rims I plan on running 16" et streets on stock firebird rims for weekend street racing. I am hearing mixed things.

Re: et streets poll TUBE or NO TUBE? 16" rims all the big sources have them. summit, jegs, etc. it is preference. i have them but my next set i will not get them. they are a safety thing, but i dont think it is worth it unless you are in the 1.4x area.

Re: et streets poll TUBE or NO TUBE? 16" rims No tubes in my 26" x 11.5" x 15" ET Streets. I have cut a best 60 ft. of 1.51. I don't think you need tubes or wheel screws. The tire bead seats well enough that will take at least 1.3x 60 fts. to spin the tire on the wheel.
