Default Any difference in stock valves through the years?

I have a stock intake valve that has a rough spot on it that is think is causing the valve seal to fail on that cyclinder. I noticed it when I changed the seals and it is the only one that has a little oil on the plug. I'm putting on a set of AS heads soon and want to stick a new valve in my stockers before I put some stock springs and all back on it. Car is an 02' and I have access to lots of 99' valves, but didn't know it GM made any changes. Thanks in advance.

Thanks very much buddy! I'll pull a 99' valve and slap in my head before I put it back together. Have a good night.
