Default BFG dr's not hooking on street??

Are these tires better than nitto's for the street? From what I hear, they are better at the track than nitto's. I have 255/50/16 BFG dr's on and cant get them to hook. I did a nice smoky burnout, then launched at 2,500 RPM, and they just spun like hell and bounced off the rev limiter.... so I tried a 2,000 launch, and they still spin. I'm hoping nitto's are better if I put them on.

Vary the air pressure in increments of 1 or 2 at a time. Mayble start with say 20 and work your way down. Had the same problem with nitto's on a H/C car and finally got it to hook. The slicks are the best. Determine the amount of heat require to do a burnout, I don't for these tires. Somebody else can advise you on that issue. I would not go any lowered that 14 or so. Cheers. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

most guys run 17-20 in there BFG's at the track.. trick is just heat them up gooodddddddd then burn up to the tree... keep them hot...

just keep in mind its gonna be hard to luanch a M6 on any drag radial.. just pratice pratice and find that feathering border line....
