Default ST3800 vs. ST4000 vs. PT4400

I'm sure that the PT4400 is gonna whip the other two in any area of performance, so I'm not gonna bother asking which would win. But, how much of a difference is there from a stop, slow roll, and 60+? What is the difference in looseness between the three? I do not really want an insane amount of looseness. I will probably stick with my 3.23s for now, but will switch to 3.73s in the future. Any help and experiences are appreciated.

ST 4000 should 60' as well as a YTP 4400; but can't compete on the top end. It will be a bit tighter too. Both will be pretty loose with 3.23s. ST 3800 is an improvement over the ST 3500, but I'd bite the bullet and choose either the ST4000 or YTP 4400.

Yeah.. what he said <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I wish someone would try that ST-4000 out. I'm very interested in seein how it performs.

The TP-4400 is proven performance. It will kick azz and take names in just about any race situation.

In my opinion, the ST4000 should out 60' a PT4400...but only by a small margin. Once rolling, the superior mid-range of the Pro Thruster 4400 would walk away from the Super Thruster and win the race. I hope to stick a Super Thruster 4000 in my SS soon.

Just installed a ST4000 in my 99WS6
1.57 60ft
7.62 1/8
90.14 MPH
12.06 1/4
111.8 MPH
The car is a Stock internal 99WS6, w/ 3.42's, and et streets.

The track was horrible, they had just stripped the track completely-this pass was holding the converter at about 2000 and rolling into the throttle. Tried to launch harder on my next two runs but spun to a couple of 1.6x's.
Converter works pretty well on the spray too.
Ran a Best of 11.12@122.8 1.53 60ft on a TnT 100 shot. The car had 3.42's on these two runs. Just installed 4.10's and an Airbag-cant wait to try it with more gear.
