I believe John is saying that your converter is flashing too high and raising your shift extention too much. Which means, you are driving above your optimum/effective rpm range throughout the 1/4. That is a major ET/mph killer. By lowering your stall, you'll move back into the rpm range where you are making the most power.

that is viable since you have a 4000 stall and you were trying to shoot a 250 shot. you have a window switch? perhaps restalling down to about 3500 to so.

Yep...4000 stall, but using a window switch that keeps me in the juice all the way down the track. At least I know what he meant now <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
