HELP! 13.90 et with g tech LOOK!
Just got back from a major disappointment from a g tech
had it set up properly, and ran a 13.90 @ 111mph,
see mods below...
I smashed it from the start and got in the converter so I spun about 60 feet.
what should I run with et streets? I was hoping for around a 11.5!!!!!! please tell me et streets will get me hooking and in the 11's??????
a bolt on 01 z28 with me ran a 13.50 @107 mph! he didn't really spin, at the track he runs around a 13.0
HELP! I am so so disappointed!

Your having serious traction problems. Good set of street slicks will help. I had the same problem when my car was near stock. I strapped on the nitrous systems and went yeeehaawwww Im gonna run low 12's (wrong) I ran low 13's at 115 mph and slid all over the track. Concentrate on traction! SFC,Aftermarket torque arms, street slicks are some of the best cures. Good luck and email me if you need any suggestion

The judge is right...I own a GTech, and It is not accurate like the company claims. If you do a pass on a street that starts flat then goes down hill slightly...skews your results. Same with starting flat and going up a slight incline. I dont know about that 15 bucks thing...here its 25 bucks! Maybe I can move into the judges house and race for cheap.

No doubt here its $25-30 depending on the track. Man it would be nice to race for $15. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

damn....its 10-15 here for 1/8 mile (between the 2 they're open wed, thurs, fri, and i think sat (for TnT). 1/4 mile at ennis is like 25 now...and its open maybe 1 day a week. Hallsville (kinda far from me), is only 15 or so (i think), and thats 1 night/day a week as well.

Re: HELP! 13.90 et with g tech LOOK!
I personally don't think those things work, MOST of the time. I did that thing about ten times on a road near my house, good traction (zero spin) each time on F1's. Each run was either 13.8 or 13.9.
At Moroso, I think I did about 6 runs on F1's. 13.48 best with allot of spin through 1st and 2nd, 13.6 was the worst run.
This was all with my bone stock 1998 WS6 T/A A4, 1500 miles.

Re: HELP! 13.90 et with g tech LOOK!
just got my et streets! going to have them mounted and balanced. what pressure to run on the street? I plan on metco lca's w/ reloc. brackets, spohn torque arm, bmr boxed sfc's, bmr extreme rear swaybar, and have a bmr phr front and rear hals.
I think that is about the ultimate set up.
