how could i tell what rear end i have if it is a 2000 nhra special edition t/a i know that on diff years the rear ends change from stock torsen to optional and vise versa, but is there some code or a way to determine wich one exacly my car has?????

Count how many bolts hold the diff cover to the rear end. If there are 10, then it's stock. 12, then you have a Moser or other 12 bolt. No bolts, then its probably a Ford 9". Or it could be something completely different.

o iam sorry i meant the posi not the rear end.

If stock, you have a Torsen, all `99+ F-bodies have a Torsen stock. ONLY SLP cars (SS and Firehawk) have the option for the Alburn, and it would be writen on the passenger side door sticker.
