pro star 3 1/2" skinnies ok daily driver?
I am thinking of getting weld pro stars
15x3.5 fronts with 1.75 backspacing and 15x10 rears with 7.5 backspacing. would it be ok for a daily driver?
I have no front swaybar.
don't care about flying around corners, just street racing and 1/4 mile.
can I remove the power steering with the 15x 3.5's up front?

3.5's are NOT legal here in Florida, but I doubt the cops would know or bother to check.Legal or not I'm considering 5 in. draglites instead of 3.5's.Just doesn't seem like the 3.5's & the tire that goes with it would be enough in a panic stop or quick turn to avoid something. The 5's weigh only 3 lbs more per wheel & the wider tire will weigh a couple lbs more also, but I just feel the extra safety is worth the few extra lbs.
Maybe I'm just paranoid

This is my set up for the street.
I would leave the pwr steering pump activated, it is still hard to turn at low speeds without the pump working.

If you find out that 5"'s fit (correct BS, spacers, reasonable amount of grinding) Let us know!
I just started driving with 3.5's, not too bad!! Just watch out for really bad potholes!

will the tire on a 15x 10 hit the fender lip on a hard acceleration? probably run 275/50/15's how far past the fender does a 15x10 stick out?

Sparky -- There is a picture of Reckless's car on his website http://www.turbo-ws6.com/ They look like they are flush with the fenders.
Terry -- From what I've read,as long as you have the 7.5 BS on those 15x10's the tires won't hit.I think the only issue with 15x10's hitting are with the centerlines since they don't have enough backspace.

AFTICA: Thanks!
Terry: That size tire (nitto) is what I run on my 15x8's for daily driving (10.5 E/T's for the track). Are you sure you need (want the 10's?)
