Re: Ikeep hitting the rev limiter almost every other run, why???
Why the Hypertech program does not work I don't know. I had the same problem with mine when i install 3:73 gears. I used to run my car in D not overdrive because I always ran a little faster in this gear. After hitting the rev limiter with the gear installed as mentioned above, I finally just did the Hpertech install with the performance tunning and no other adjustments and drove the car in overdrive which gave me more RPM range and ran faster times. It would still hit the rev limiter, but I still ran some respectable ET's at the local track. Finally, I did a custom tune which eliminated the problem. Hopes this helps. Good luck.

stop raising the limiter and lowering the shift points on that shift.. im guessing its the 2-3 shift? i had to lower my shift -3 on that, and i have my limiter raised to 6300.. i wouldnt go above 6300 unles you have internal work done... to risky
just lower the shift points on that shift one by one till you dont hit it

thanks guys. if it dosen't rain on wed. were going to e-town I'll try lowering the 2-3 shift and see what happens, hopefully no limiter and faster times.
