Multimedia Exchange - My gun range video...

When I was out in california recently, my brother and I went to the shooting range and had some fun shooting stuff. We took some pictures and film of us shooting so I thought I would do a video of it.

It's my first video, so let me know what you guys think. :)

Brian - We rented those guns. I am only 20 and by law I am unable to own a handgun. But I like renting at this point and time because I can get a feel for what gun I want. I did like that kimber, although I do like the sig P226

doodfromcali, kimbers are great guns, as well as Sigs. If you're into renting I would strongly reccomend you check out an H&K if they are available where you rent. I own a USP compact 9mm and a .40 S&W. They are my absolute FAVORITE handgun i have ever shot or picked up. Go check me out

MarkSS - In the state of illinois, a person under the age of 21 may not own a handgun. But since I am over the age of 18, I can own a rifle or a shotgun. And by what I mean own a handgun, I mean have the gun in my name. It would have to be in my parents name or to that sort until I am 21, which is in March.

Silver - Haha ya. I should walk up to people and be like, "Wanna fight?"

Brian - Ya I really liked that kimber, fired very nicely. My buddy plans on buying one this summer so I should be able to get some time in with his gun and see how I like it. I have heard the H&K are comparable to kimber. It's made by springfield correct? I still have a little while till I can buy a gun, so in the meantime I just keep shooting and seeing what I like the best. I am hoping that when I get hired, we get to carry glocks because I really like the glock 23. Althought the department I really would like to work for carrys berettas and I have heard those suck. Hopefully they change it by the time I get hired. But thanks for all the info.

Badass - The targets actually turned out pretty well. We were doing 5 rounds as quick as we could pull the trigger and I was staying in the general vicinity of the chest area. Not bad IMO.

I have a Beretta 96FS (.40 s&w) and I absolutely love it...recoil is pretty severe for a .40 but once you get used to it you don't even notice it.

doodfromcali.....The H&K is not really comparable to a springfield, if the springfields your referring to are the 1911 style guns like the Kimbers you were firing in the videos. H&K is a more tactical style handgun, with a polymer frame. It is more comparable to a glock or a Sig, although sig still uses metal frames on their pistols. Ive been in the handgun business for a while so thats why ive got all this info spilling out of me like a book :) If you have any questions feel free to PM me, id be happy to help you out in any way I can.

I'm only up to 10GB of network traffic for the month (65GB max) so it wasn't bandwidth related...

I start watching the vid and what do I see.............a Stainless Target II, after that it had my total attention LOL

I love guns, be it Springfield's, Glock's, H&K's, Kimber's...etc. They're all good.:D

Nice vid...Mike, I especially liked the one slow-mo shot! Sigs are smooth running pistols...we're issued the 229 (.40). If you get on with that dept. that uses Berettas, you'll be fine, they are, IMO, fine weapons...I'd carry my model 96 if I had a choice...

That tune is by Crystal Method, one of my favorites. I want to go shoot the new .50 Smith and Wesson just came out with. It looks like a friggin potato gun.
