Default tsp 231/237 in a 383/408?

Anybody running this cam in a 383/408 motor? I will be running this cam with my 347 for two years then when I build my 408 on a ls2 block I am wondering if it will work good or if I should have a new cam ground for the larger ci motor? Just trying to save any money that I can by using any parts I can from the 347ci. Someone has to have a stroker with the tsp cam in it. What type of numbers are you getting?

Buy for today, you really can't predict what you'll do 2 years from now. Plans, budgets, and goals change, and the state of the art changes such that you will probably not want to reuse much. The bigger investment is buying heads today for a 347 that in a couple years you will not want to use on a 408 without significant reporting.

I was going to send my heads in for a stage three port with larger valves for the 408. I agree its almost impossible to buy mods now and use them on a new setup two years from now. I already want an ls2 intake with 90mm TB after I have already bought an LPE intake and ported TR TB, but that can wait until the ls2 408 is born!
