I went 10.70@128.5 MPH on a 1.51 with 275/40/17 Nittos. Raceweight was about 3500 way back then.
I feel I could run 10.2s on them now.

It's not an LS1, but I've been 6.72 @ 103 through the 1/8 in my Cutlass. That would be around a 10.58 @ 127 through the quarter. I'm gonna go to Test-N-Tune at Memphis tonight and see if I can get a 10 sec slip. I'll probably be booted off the track for no roll bar.
I'm from Falkner, MS, BTW.

damn guys thats fast. I think i'm gonna try for that. I ran 11.4@118 with a 1.7 60' this past weekend. it was 80* and humid not sure about DA but I dont think it was good. I also only have about a 60hp shot of n2o. I think with a little better 60' and 100hp shot i can get in the 10's. This is all at full weight and heavy *** chrome zr1's. my best on motor was 12.0@111 about 3 mph slower than usual....(i hope just the weather)

Where you running at Tuscola over the weekend? I heard that most people were at least 2 tenths slow over there this past weekend. Put a 150 shot on it and you'll be sure to get that 10 sec. slip.
Good Luck,

I was at Tuscola, I hope to get there again this weekend. The c5 assoc. is supposed to be there this weekend and I want to out run a certain gut on street tires...full street trim. It wont be a problem as he only runs low 13's but I want to surprise him! He thinks he is the KING. I have run 11.7's on et streets but not any better 60'than I had this weekend on DR's. I think I have all issues worked out now so i am gonna shoot for 10's on radials. then go for broke on the et streets.

Re: anyone been 10's on DRs?
nine ball,
what jetting were you using when you had head/cam/n2o?
I blew a head gasket using standard NX 150hp jets, thats why i have jetted down now. I am going to put the 100hp n2o jet and 150hp fuel jet in and see what o2's read before i go any further. I may try 150hp n2o jet but I know I have to have more fuel than standard jets provide. I have a t-rex (vortech) fuel pump to help.
anyone else have any ideas?

Re: anyone been 10's on DRs?
62/35 is what i had when i blew head gasket and i had 2.5 gallons of 116 octane mixed in with probably 3-4 gallons of 93.
I am definatly going to try a 52/35 this weekend. i may try a 62/38-41 soon. definately bigger than a 35.
Now I have a 41/33 and my o2's are ~.93-.95 on spray. I feel pretty safe with that. It made a good 6.5 mph difference with that jetting.
what do you guys think?
