Default Paging 6.90 or faster NA folks (1/8th)

What converter / gear/ tire combo do you have?

I've got a Yank TP3600E and it's too tight I think.

John, you know my combo...

4.33 gears
28" slicks
~4500 stall

Was good for mid 6.8's with the old motor.

How'd you end up with that stall? Was thinking N2O or something?

We thought it was stalling too high and sent it back to Yank to get it tightened up. Turns out it was another issue.

Perhaps a TP4400E will get my the 6.8's I so do crave. (Nicolas Cage's character in Raising Arizona)

I don't qualify at 6.91, but I run the TP4400, 4.10, Hoosier 26" DOT/Full slick, both worked well.

I would like to try the TP4600, but I'll add a little more power first. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I think you definately need more stall.

28x10 Hoosiers will be on the car next time, and hopefully it will run a 10.xx, I have also done some other minor things.

I'm thinking TP4400E and is just a restall away. But Jimmy da K I am in fact thinking of wacking the car with a 100 shot before I pull the converter out. If it blows up it would give me an excuse to flow the heads.

Why don't you just get one of those Yank Extreme converters John?

Then you can still spray the car, but have a solid 4000flash on motor.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

PSJ,
I think the TP4400 with 3.73's and 26x10 inch slick would work great in your combo. I wouldnt go any higher than that.
Cheers,
Chris

I'm trying to join the 6.9 1/8th club. I run a TP4400, 4.10s, 26" tires. 3370# raceweight at the time.

I do have a set of 3.70's lying around but would only drop down if I was gonna wack the car with a 250+ shot of NOOOS.

Bos, I already have an Extreme 'verter (TP3600E) that is perfect for DA GUN. That's what the E stands for my son.

That settles it, I will pull the 'verter out after I hit the track on more time.

We think the UT would be too much for my motor right?

Yes a 4.10 with a 28 inch Hoosier would be the **** with a TP4400 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
