I now have a motor!!!!
Now I'm getting really excited about having the car running again.
The motor came in this morning at my work. As soon as I got home I got it unpacked from the crate and on my engine stand. I'm still waiting for a few crucial parts to arrive from Nick, so that's keeping me from getting it back in the car for the moment. Hopefully I'll be rolling on the install tomorrow though.
I did manage to get everything I can install right now done (motor mounts, sensors, etc.). As soon as the flexplate gets here, it will be in the car!
I snapped a couple of pics of the valvetrain earlier if anyone wants to check them out. They're at my Webshots page under the "engine pictures" folder...
I'll take some more during the install as well. It should turn out pretty nice with the custom fabricated valvecovers I'm getting from Nick, the relocated coils/custom MSD wires, and all of the braided fuel line I'm using.
I'm still shooting for a trip to the track this weekend.
