1st Get yourself a pair of 15x10 welds with 7.5 b/s, a pair of et drags.

The way that I launch(on motor) is I set my shift light for 6200 rpm and when that flashes on the line you drop the clutch. I was getting around the 1.48- 1.5 60'.

What gear are you going to run in your new Moser?

I have a 4.56 gear in mine. I have new Goodyear 26x3.5x15 front runners and 28x10x15 slicks going on next weekend.(I had a set of M/T 28x10.5x15 slicks before the new set up) Wheels are prostars. I will be launching at 6,000rpm with my new set up. With the old set up a launched at 4,000rpms and got 1.68 60ft, 12.24et@114mph.

Good luck with your quest for the 11's!

You have a lot of questions. Best advise would be to read the "big" boys posts/signatures.

Everyone will have differences on wheel and tires. Any other type of wheel but Convo Pros you'll need to run spacers in front and hack the crap out of the calipers in back. Convo Pros need no spacers or hacking. Fronts fit great. The rears only have 5" B/S but fit great. I would suggest (IMO): Convo Pro 15x3.5 front; 15x7.5 rear; tire ET front runners and ET Drag 26 or 28x??x15.

For a good 60' on an M6: on the last yellow, hammer the trottle and pop the clutch all at the same time. -- you'll be launching at about 6000rmp. Hope you are getting a good aftermarket clutch. On my stock 10" w/3.73, McCloud Kevlar, I'm down into the 1.6's. With Harlan's new 2-step and good track prep maybe 1.5's..

Good Luck

I have 15 x 8's in the back. If I was you and had it to do over again, I'd get the 15 x 10's. Go with a 26 x 11.5 x 15 tire.. and you will have to play with launch RPm. I'd start at 4000.

I have single disc Kevlar clutch, 4.30 gears and 27 x 11.5 tire.. I launch at 3500-4000 depending on the track.. When everytihng works, mid 1.5 all day..

I've been researching this same issue for a bit. I am going to go with the following:

--wheels: 10x15's Centerline Warriors w/ 6.5" bs
--tires: 26-11.5x15's ET Streets

I have my Harlan shift light now installed in the A-pillar vent with the guts of the unit under the dash so I can change the settings. Going to start launching at 4K and work up from there. Have an Autometer prolight on the steering column now set for 6.4K. Have an airbag in the right rear that I will inflate to ~22lbs. Can't wait to try out this setup this weekend.
