Default possibly bad?

well, i think i polished off the 10 bolt, nto sure though.

did a 2nd gear 4k rpm drop from a stop, nice long smoke show, then started whippin donuts, I did about 15-20 area then stopped.

started drivin, car felt a lil funky, went to make a turn, and i heard a 'chirp' was the inside tire chirping, huh? then i heard a clunk when I turned into a parking lot, i thought maybe I had blown a tire or somethin.

get out, look, nothin looks bad. get back in, hear lotsa pops/crunches comin from the *** end. for another 200-250 miles or so, when going around corners at 30mph or slower, it'll go 'bang/pop/crunch' or whathaveu and the inside tire will chirp. had to hold the steerin wheel or it would return to center there was so much pressure.

i was in tampa durin all this... well it all just suddenly went away. havent heard it since... what do you guys think? i've put about 800 miles or so on it since then.

now about 1k miles later.. the posi works sometimes, sometimes it dont. clutch is definetly roasted though.

any ideas guys? is this car gonna be safe to drive around, or should I park it till i get a 12 bolt?

I think your on borrowed time with that thing IMO.

Just don't punch it and try to stay way from tight turns. if you try to launch it at all you better call a tow truck. its actually a cheap fix its just the diff thats goping out you can pick up a stock one for under $100.

i've actually already done a race since thats happened.. several, and many tight turns.

have done about 1k miles or so with it since it happened, no issues as of yet.

a few street races. one from a dead stop. no probs yet. been beatin on it around home to see if its safe. seems to be.. i just want some professional opinions.

if I had the cash.. itd be gettin a 12bolt asap
