Default 8.30@85 mph w/ only lid and cutout??

Just trying to get some times from you guys here. My buddy has an 01 Z28. Only mods are a Whisper lid and a cutout. Last night at our shitty local 1/8 mile track he was running 8.50s all night. I jump in the car and on my first pass I go an 8.30@85 mph tapping the limiter on the 1/2 shift(not used to shifting at the 6k mark ) Is this a lil fast for the mods he has or what? I know this track is typically .2 slower than any other 1/8 mile track in the state. Oh BTW, He is running Nitto 275s..... Chime in here guys, whats your best 1/8 mile close to bone stock. Im trying to talk him into going to the dyno and see what this beast is making. Seems to be a lil on he fast side to me.

BTW, I cut a 1.89 60ft on the 8.30 pass. Left at 3800rpm and bogged slightly. Im sure 8.20s are in the bag with a 4500 dump

I have a A4 Ws6 convertible with just a cutout and a lid. I have run 8.19 several times at 89.5 mph on F1's and consistantly in the low 8.2's. I just put some nitto's on last week and have not had a chance to try them out.

Times and mods are in the sig. I recently installed a Midwest 3200 stall and Nittos but still haven't had it to the track yet to update my times with my luck it'll probably slow down.

the 01-02's will see solid mid 8's with only a few mods...

i only saw 8.6-8.8's mostly stock

with a 2800 stall and nittos i got into the 8.1-8.3's

he's dead on where a 01 should be with those mods

Saying your car is unbelievable is the understatement of the year "UnbelieveableLS1"..you need to do the bolt-ons so you car carry the throne of fastest bolt-on ls1.. And folks, he's not lying about that being the only mods either..me and others have seen this car and I've raced him just a few times And good driving and times Cammin Beast

Thanx guys. I just wantedto see where he was at with the rest of us. Im basically interested in M6 #s. BTW, Im quite sure 8.20s or even 8.10s could be had at another track. Anyone who knows Dallas knows its an uphill shitty track.

Good times guys!!!!!
