OK my 99TA has 125hp N20, Vig 3200, stock 3.23’s, and a pair of Hoosier slicks.
When I launch on the nitrous, ALL the warning lights in the dash come on. Like the ‘brake’, ‘ABS’, ‘check engine’, ‘oil’, ‘check guages’, etc etc. ALL of them flash on for a few seconds when I launch hard. Also the speedometer & tach are pegged out. Has this happened to anyone else? How can I stop this from happening again??? Does it hurt anything?

I think that equates to something attuned to a "Car Orgasm" <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />

sounds like the electrical system is being jolted and reseting everything (like on startup)

Maybe something is shorting out? Thats what it sounds like to me. I had something of that sort happen to my car before, not to scare you but that is right before my tranny bit the dust.

Do you have any aftermarket electrical accessories? Maybe a loose ground?

sounds like a grounding issue to me too, just go back and make sure every ground is solid. I had this same issue on my TA when I was modding the fans and installing the sub hunted it for about three days found the negitive cable was loose at the ground block.

Check if your battery is secured well. I had mine rock back off the line (because the stock strap deal wasn't working on my interstate battery)and it was shorting on my A/C Accumulator. Even left a nice little weld spot on the accumulator bracket.

I made a custom tie down strap with a 10mm combo wrench and a 10mm foglight access flap bolt. The wrench is screwed down using the mounting hole for the headlight bracket right in the center of the battery.

I'm prolly gonna bend some bar stock to fit in place even though the wrench looks pretty Trick. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
