Default Idle good but car runs by itself after tune

I just had my car tuned and it runs great, but I am having issues when I put it in gear

I have the car idling where I want it, but it will go buy itself when you put it in gear. I can go all though my neighborhood without ever touching the gas. I have tried changing all the idle properties, even back to where they were before the tune, but it seems to have no effect on that issue. When I stop at a stop sign, it will idle down to normal after about 4 or 5 seconds. When I put it in Nuetral it will idle fine. Only when I start moving again does it pick up and run at around 1500 rpm. Strange!! We did drill a 3/16 hole in the BBK thottle body. I had a 1/8 hole in it before the tune. Do you think that could be part of the problem?

Anyone have any ideas?

Probly the hole drilled in the TB. Go in Edit at the decay in gear and multiply the whole table by 50%.That should knock it down.

I increased the decay(Gear) numbers by 50%, but it didn't seem to help any! I thouht about decreasing the delay, but I have not done it yet! I will have to try when I get home today.

nooooo, not increase....decrease.... punch in 50 and then hit %.. I would of said 150% in the other post if I wanted you to increase it.

In the help files it says the higher the number the faster the decay!

Doesn't work too well either way! I tried increasing and decreasing! Actually increasing the numbers by 50% seem to help somewhat, but taking it back 50% from stock made it worse!

did you try to lower your idle air ( running air slow) try tacking it down.

I am not sure what you mean by "tacking". I have changed all of the setiings one way or another. My tuner is not sure either. He said that he has never seen a car do what mine is doing before! Weird!!!

If your IAC counts are too high definately lower the idle air in gear. If they're not too high it's probably too big of a hole in the throttle body or an intake leak. You can probably back the idle screw out like a turn if it's in the stock position to make up for the drilled throttle body.
