Default Am I capable of 12s?

Last night I went 13.6@107 with a shiddy 2.3 60'.

Heres the timeslip line for line.

Reaction: .458
T1: 2.310
T2: 6.095
T3: 9.046
MPH (T3) 83.723
T4 11.554

ET 13.675
MPH 107.077

What are the most effective launch techniques for our cars? BTW im running stock SS wheels with regular PSI.

M6, street tires on SS wheels, regular pressure, temp was around 80, sea level, and I think my 60' explains my traction. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

ill help ya with what to do on tires..

put 26psi in them, and 44 up front(helps weight transfer)

make sure you go around the water box!! do not get those tires wet. Once around water box, just drop the clutch and do a small 2-3 sec spin up to the tree.

you dont need to heat stock tires, just clean them off. Ill leave the launching to the M6 guys in here.

I'm having the same problem with my 60ft times. I have the stock GSA's and they are very bad at traction. My best 60ft was 2.10 and i got that by spinning a little bit of the line. I think i had the RPM around 2K and then i slipped the clutch. I think if u do the same move u will get better traction due to ur 17 SS rims with the 275's in the back. Its a good idea to lower the pressure in your rear tires too. 26 or 24psi is good. Lower than that i think it might affect ur trapspeed, but might improve ur ET time by reducing ur 60ft.
