weight difference between stock wheels and Convo Prs inside
Well I weighed a buddies 15x8 1/2 Convo Pro with M/T Et Street on it the tire is 26x11.50 it weighed in at 38lbs the I weighed a 16" stock 99 Pontiac rim with a ET Street on it which is also 26x11.50 and it weighed 41 lbs so the weight saving is only 3lbs not worth the xtra $$$ in my book

buying it for weight savings... maybe not.
but for the increased sidewall that will allow better traction, i think it would be worth it to some people. I just bought them cause they look better IMHO

You might want to try another scale. My 26-10.5-15 on the 7.5 convo weighed in at 27 lbs. I just got new tires, same size, I'll weigh again.
Stock SS rims & tire weighed in at 43.
16" salad shooters with BFG 275 weighed 43 also.
The 15x4 with 165 metric tire weighed 24-25 lbs.

My 15x10 Pro Star / 26x11.5x15 ET Streets are lighter than the same thing on 16x8 TA rims for sure, I can tell because I can lift up one of my Pro Star / slick setups with one hand, and the stock wheel / slick is like an anvil.
