Default Slippping Tranny????

Ok, I have a 2000 Z-28 with Jet Hot LT, OYP,Cat-back,SLP MAF, Intake..anyway, i put a bottle on there about 6 months ago, and then took it off because i was gonna sell my car, I put 373s in the car also and my spedo was off, so my shop orderd the slp gear indacator. Ever since that was on there iv had Crapppy Luck.......So far my tranny at full throttle has had problems shifting from 3-4..now my shop tells me that my tranny is going out but i just took it to the shop that used to be Raging Motor Sports( a damn good shop) and is now SuperTune Performance( Same shop and same Equipment as Raging..IE the Dyno and LS1 EDIT)and i believe that they are very good.. So anyway they were telling me that they think that it could be fixed if we droped my gear indactor and LS1 edited the car.. now they arnt 100% sure, so im lost..i dont know what to do...Let me know...Again i used to be running and pulling C-5's untill my speedo limiter kicked in, so i am wondering if it is the SLP Gear indacator..
Thanks

Nope your tranny is going ****! Mine did the same hitting the rev limiter between shifts thought it was the ol' OBD1 high stall problem at first but about 1 month later BLAAA tranny puked!

By your explaination, at least that is what it is sounding like, especially if you were squeezing it on shifts!

In my opinion dun matter if you were runing the whole bolt on set up or not. N2O will put a whole lot of pressure on a tranny.

Take it for what its worth I was running N/A and got about 24 1/4 mile runs in with regular street driving, not daily driver, garaged in winter and stock 4L60E went ****. Not an unusual instance with the stock trannys!
