Default 422 high compression & spark plug gap?

Just wondering what spark plug gap is being used on high compression 422 cu in LS1's. Trying to track down a loss of power at high rpm's in a friend's car.

Thanks,
Brian

I use .039 gap with 11.2-1 on a iron 422 with a 100 NX wet shot. 28 degrees of timing with no knock retard. NGK TR6 plugs.

Try a TR6 @ at the factory .035 gap.
