'01 and later were 85mm. '02 and later Z06 is descreened.
The Z06 seems to be a nonstandard as far as Delphi's
list of MAF products is concerned (I waded through the
whole thing). Almost all current GM V-8s use the same
85mm screened MAF. I posted that info in the External
Engine section not that long ago.

I believe the 'Vettes through 2000 used the
aluminum-body MAF like the F-body. There is
a howto (c5howto.com?) on swapping in a
5-pin, 85mm MAF that includes MAF table
info. But I don't have specific early-C5 MAF
info, only "stuff gleaned from context".
Have seen some stuff about 'Vettes being more
sensitive to descreening, believe this is due to
the funny "air bridge" biasing the airstream at
higher flows. Slight MAF table differences are
shown in that howto, presumably to account for
the inlet tract effects (similarly, slight table diffs
for trucks vs 'Vettes vs other makes w/ screened
MAFs that are all (evidently) the same base Delphi
unit; just shaving tables to get that last percent
of accuracy.

97-00 had 75 mm (750 CFM) screened MAF and will work if screen is taken out but tuning of PCM is needed else without the screen in there can be some surging.

Also would the non screen maff work on the cars that had screened maffs. Was that the only difference?
