Default Help Pick a TCI 'verter for my Friend's car.

Ok, we are trying to figure out which stall from TCI would be best for his car.

he called someone there but they didn't seem to be very confident of their info at all so here goes.

This must be a power adder converter.
We are looking for about 4000 flash on motor and 4200-4400 when spraying it out of the hole.

car has 3.73 gears and 28" et drags for reference to things that will effect the converter.

So who are the TCI experts, lets hear it thanks.

I've been talking to Kevin at TCI. He seems to know his stuff. I'm gonna be spraying my car. He wants a convertor that flashes to 3800 on motor and about 4400-4500 on spray. He is gonna build me a convertor for my needs. Should rock on the spray.

That setup sounds similar to mine. I think it would be hard to flash to 4000 on motor and only 4200 on spray. Unless your running a small shot like 50-75hp.

Just ordered convertor today. You should have your buddy call and talk to Kevin about building a convertor.

Hi Silverghost,
You can call me or email me. I'll be in the office all day today and will be glad to help you. I'd like to get a few more specifics on the mods that have been performed and how much he's planning on spraying.

Thanks again Kevin for all you help with convertor selection. I'm sure it will rock on spray.
