Default How fast?!

I have a 99 SS Camaro that I just got and I was wondering what you all think it would run in the 1/4 and the top speed it might reach. Here is the list of modifications done to the Camaro:

1. MTI Stage 1 Heads and Cam Package
2. Mac Headers
3. Borla Exhaust
4. Vortech V-9 G-Trim Supercharger (8.5 psi)
5. Pro 5.0 Short Shift Kit
6. 4-Point Bolt-in cage
7. McLeod Twin Disk Clutch
8. Baer Eradispeed Disc Brakes

Dynoed at 535 rear wheel horsepower and 477 ft. lbs torque (approx. 630-640
engine hp).

Mid to high 10s would be my guess.

Are you on the stock rear end/M6? What gears? What tires? Any suspension mods? Any weight reduction mods?

Do you have the safety equipment needed to run <11.99 at NHRA sanctioned track, or 11.5 at IHRA track? (I dont know about your cage passing.......)

I can't really tell you, but it will be fast if you can launch/drive it obviously. Maybe someone with more experience will get you looking at a somewhat narrow margin.

I ask about passing tech for your probable speeds/times because you might only get one real pass and then be given the boot. Also, I hope you have a 9" or a 12-bolt, b/c that kind of power on ANY real tire will the stock rear....and if you have regular street tires they will just all the way down the track

You didn't ask but I'll recommend anyway....use a real set of headers for that package. 1 7/8" Kooks would be my pick.

dont know crap about the 1/4 but run it and find out. Just hope the drive train is up to par or rear end go BOOM if you actually hook up.

As far as top end. IMHO you will probably spit the belt or a clamp before you hit the big end. You have the HP to get close to or hit a duece. But I wouldnt even attempt it without serious suspension work.
