yes and no.
when i broke one of my dual springs i was cruising down the highway (on cruise control) doing about 2000rpms. all the sudden my SES light started blinking. i tapped to brakes to take it off cruise control to see if i could feel anything. i couldn't tell any difference while i was at that low of rpm in 6th gear. only thing was my SES light was flashing.
i suspected that a valvespring may have broken (i had some of the first rev duals). so, i put it in nuetral and reved it gently and the motor started to misfire bad as the rpms rose a little more.
i then exited the highway and as i tried to accelerate the car just sputtered horribly and i could tell that something major was wrong.
hope my experience helps.
