Check out APE's New 5.3 Race Heads! We have a new 5.3 race head that we have been working on for a couple of weeks. Here's the specs...
5.3 Race Head
2.055 int.
1.575 exh.
Ferrea Stainless Valves
Titanium Retainers
Ferrea Double Springs
Viton Seals
Bronze Valve Guides
Intake runner volume 230cc.
Chamber volume 68 cc.
FLOW NUMBERS
We had a set of these heads on a 2000 A4 Corvette with a 224 cam on our Mustang Dyno, the car made just shy of 400hp at the tires.

The intake flow would lower (LS6 intake restricted) and the exhaust flow higher from the pipe.
