I just pulled my TR 224/224 cam out of the car and am installing a 244/250 @110 that was a custom grind. Here are my mods and before power numbers. Let me know what you think after results will be before I start tuning on this thing.
Custom 244/250 Camshaft (No PTV issues) :)
Kook 1 7/8" Headers
Custom built 3" Y-Pipe
Rev Springs
Titanium Retainers
Moser 9" w/ 471 Gears
This is on a 2002 Camaro Z-28. I am just curious as to what everyone thinks my car will dyno at cam only. I ran a 11.62 @ 116 with the prior setup and made 398RWHP with the 9".
Thanks,
Amber
What were your numbers with the TR224 through the 9"?

I take it this is Joe's car? I'm gonna take a guess and say 419rwhp. This is Scott Smith with the red camaro, i got it tuned down there awhile ago at your guys place. Good luck with the swap and post your new numbers as i would like to see what the real big cam puts down as i may swap a bigger stick in mine after some more money rolls in. :jest:

405whp...if that.
bigger cam doesnt always mean better peak power.

Well we will see. We made over 405 with the last cam. I will keep you up to date Scott and it was good to here from you. And yes, bigger is not always better, but with the setup I have, bigger will be alot better. I can guarantee this.

My guess is around 445RWHP and probably about 390-410RWTQ if everything is setup and tune perfectly.
You didn't mention comp. Heads are stock and untouched?
