New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - Gonna do my first mod and need some advice.

I got this air box along with a ram air hood for my '01 TransAm:

APM neglected to include install instructions for the air box, but looking at the thing and then looking at the stock air box thats currently in my car it seems like it's just a simple matter of unbolting the stock one and bolting in the new one. Is that all there is to it or is there something else I need to do?

Like I said, this is going to be my first mod ever so I'm a little nervous. Since this is my daily driver, if I screw up I'll be taking the bus for a while. Wish me luck!

exactly... just replace it and bingo! Good luck with the future mods. I was the same way when I first started working on cars.
