Question I am planning a vaction trip on Nitto Dr's but I have a question?

I am planning a vacation trip about 600 mile's strait drive maybe a few stops to fuel up and then another 600 mile's to come back home. But I will be going on Nitto Dr's because my stock tire's are wore out. If I was to put the wore stock's on I might have a blow out since they are so wore out. I don't really want to buy a new set of tire's for the rear. The reason I am taking the Z28 and not my daily driver is I want to do a little cruzing in the Z28 while I am on vacation. Would it be a bad Idea to take the Nitto's or should I buy a new set of tire's for the rear.

Those Nittos will work just fine. Just put them at 30 psi and try not to haul too much *** if the road is wet. They work as well as any radial street tire.

I"m sitting at about 4k miles on my 555RII's all the way around and they're great tires. I'll be buying a set of Kumho's or something for the front and continuing to run 555R's or RII's on the back for as long as I have the car. GREAT tire.

28-30 psi and you should be good to go. Be careful in the rain.

if you have the drag radials, just take it easy in the rain. I drive them exclusively on my 500hp car. If they are almost bald, definately avoid the rain though.

I will be looking for the weather forcast before I go on the trip. Just to be sure it does not rain heavy on the road.
