any problems with using a 98 pcm and 99 A4 tranny ?? i have completed my engine swap and the tranny wont do anything it comes out of gear but you can feal it go into reverse or drive and it doesnt move but it will go into park so i know the linkage is working. the transmission temp doesnt go up either and the level from the initial fill is the same. is this a pcm issue or is it a bad pump? i was told that i could use the 99 A4 tranny with the 98 pcm but the 98 pcm seems to be the bastard child so i am not 100% sure
also is there a vacume line on these trannys
